Mangham 80: Zero Waste To Landfill

Ron Hull Jnr (part of the Ron Hull Group) have recently made considerable investments in continuing our company's 100% recycling commitment to our customers, the environment and to enhance our position as South Yorkshire's leading independent waste management company.     We have done this by investing over £4 million in creating a purpose-built Zero Waste To Landfill waste recycling facility on 4 acres of land on Mangham Road, Parkgate, Rotherham.     We have equipped this facility with cutting edge recycling machinery and technology, and it is now fully operational, allowing us to achieve our corporate goal of "zero to landfill", a key requirement within today's stringently-regulated waste management industry, and a key part of the Ron Hull Group's initial strategic vision of "...Cradle To Grave" recycling.

Alongside this extensive plant and equipment investment, we have also increased our fleet of waste collection vehicles, which ensures that we always have new skips and containers available for customer' use, enabling us to continue to provide an efficient and reliable waste collection service, whilst exceeding our customers' expectations at all times.

With the capability to process up to 50 tonnes per hour, the plant processes 100% of the waste we receive - ensuring that we put our "money where our mouth is" when we claim Zero to Landfill Recycling targets are achieved.

A percentage of this processed waste is segregated back into its original product from a co-mangled state, this is then sent for further re-processing off site.

An important part of this Zero To Landfill recycling process is that valuable recyclates are returned to the manufacturing industry to be re-used as base components in new products, or to be sold on and further burnt as energy-efficient, eco-friendly, RDF Fuels (Refuse Derived Fuels).
